Paps Italian opened its doors in January 2015 in the heart of Karaköy, within the historic French Passage, under the guidance of Neapolitan chef Luigi Mariconda.
Rooted in the culinary traditions of Napoli, our kitchen celebrates simple ingredients and timeless techniques. Pizzas and breads are prepared with our 40-year-old sourdough starter, alongside homemade pastas, classic tiramisu, and meat and fish dishes inspired by southern Italian cooking.
Our menu highlights carefully sourced ingredients, including Kars Gravyer cheese, buffalo milk burrata, and 36-month aged Parmigiano Reggiano, complemented by a curated selection of boutique wines and cocktails.
In January 2019, Paps Italian expanded to the Anatolian side of Istanbul with a second location at Emaar Square Mall.
The Karaköy restaurant offers an intimate dining experience with seating for 50 guests (24 indoors and 26 outdoors), where bold Italian flavors are served in a relaxed yet refined setting.
At Emaar Square Mall, Paps Italian welcomes larger gatherings with seating for 50 guests indoors and 100 outdoors.
While staying true to authentic Italian cuisine, Paps maintains a warm and approachable character. Karaköy operates with a relaxed drop-in atmosphere, while the Emaar location accepts reservations and is ideal for celebrations and special occasions.
